Boston Party Machine’s Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Research

Boston Party Machine hosted a fundraiser concert benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association of MA/NH at Ned Devine’s in Boston in March, 2010.  Concert-goers braved a wet/snowy night to come out to dance and support this worthy cause.  Sending out thanks to Greg Springer, GM of Parris/Ned Devine’s, and Colleen Warren, development coordinator at the Alzheimer’s Association, for helping to make the night such a success.  We surpassed our fundraising goal, and had a great time doing so!

The fundraiser was in honor of the life of Rob’s father, Arnie Caplin, who died of Alzheimer’s a few months before.  Arnie was a musician and the founder of Biograph Records.  For 30 years, the Biograph label brought early jazz and blues music to a more mainstream audience.  Arnie’s spirit was in the air that night.
